The 19th Junior Researcher Workshop on Real-Time Computing (JWRTC) brings together early-career researchers to connect, collaborate, and share their work with the broader real-time networks and systems community. Designed as a relaxed and welcoming forum, the event encourages the exploration of new ideas and emerging trends through a combination of short presentations and interactive poster sessions.

The scope of the JRWRTC 2026 includes (but is not limited to) the following areas:

• Real-time system design and analysis:

Instructions to authors

Submission guidelines

We invite submissions of up to 4 pages (not including references) written in double-column format, with text set to a font size of no smaller than 10 points. Authors should prepare their papers using the suggested LaTeX template, which is available for download here.

This workshop is specifically designed to support and give constructive feedback to early-career researchers. To ensure this focus, every submitted paper must include at least one junior researcher as a co-author. We define junior researchers broadly to include undergraduate or Master’s students, academic or industry interns, PhD candidates, and early-stage postdocs/researchers in general. Established and senior researchers are warmly invited to participate, provided they are co-authoring alongside a junior researcher.

For every accepted paper, at least one author must register for the conference and present the work in person during both the designated oral talk and the poster session. All accepted submissions will be featured in an online proceedings booklet made available directly on the workshop website.

The best JRWRTC paper will be awarded during the conference.
